I had a very pleasant experience with Dr. Gowen . I felt heard & cared for regarding my eyes. He was very kind and explained all my questions. The staff as well were so kind, and even helped me pick out my frames! Definitely a good place to get your eyes examined at!

My eyes are complicated to say the very least- type 1 diabetic, two retinal detachments, blind in one eye, previous cataract surgery, loads of laser work, and a bunch more. Eyes on Main was kind, informative, and just went so far above and beyond what was needed I cannot say enough good things about them. The doctor was fun and easy to speak with, his assistant was new and did an AMAZING job. I cannot say enough times how incredible this office was.

I had a wonderful experience at Eyes On Main. I went in to purchase a pair of prescription sunglasses to wear over my contacts. I wanted to be able to see the golf ball more clearly and to see street signs and signs on the interstate. Once everyone understood that I wanted a little distance along with some close-up vision everything worked out well. I can now read my phone with my sunglasses on and I can sometimes find my golf ball! Thank you Dr. Gowen and Theresa!

By far the best experience I've ever had at a Dr.'s Office. They were kind and friendly, and took a long time with my to ensure that I got the right prescription (I was rushed at the first eye doctor I went to and ended up with a prescription that gave me bad headaches, so a doctor who took his time making sure he got it right was a huge relief).
When I went to pay they told me my insurance didn't cover it because I already had used my benefits this year. So they were able to walk me through what to do to make sure I got what I needed while paying as little as possible, even if it meant they got paid less.
I honestly cannot recommend this place enough.

EYES on Main Street were tremendous in both they hospitality, knowledge and flexibility. I was able to get an emergency appointment the very next day after contacting them. They not only explained what the issue was and clarified what it meant but did it in a way that I was reassured. Dr. Gowen was reassuring, friendly and relatable while doing everything that could possibly help me. I would recommend him and this office to anyone who needs an optometrist.

I am so pleased with the thorough exam I had today with Dr. Gowen. He is so careful with his examination. All my questions were answered, and all his findings were explained. After just one visit, I feel I know him and his philosophy of care. No need to worry about the office I have trusted for ten years. Excellent care will continue to be the trademark.
